THE ART OF CLAY MONO PRINTING was created by Mitch Lyons, formerly of New London, PA.  Thomas learned the method directly from Lyons.  The process uses pure pigment mixed with china clay as a medium.  The medium is applied using various methods to a slab of clay from which the artist pulls an original archival print.
